More of Hudson

I am so looking forward to Hudson’s 1 year session… I can’t wait to see this little guy again, and I think his mom and I have come up with some really good ideas for the location they’ve chosen.  This kid is so cute.  I love how you can see his sweet and funny (and sometimes mischievous) personality coming through in his portraits.  For his 8 month session, we got to see all the different sides of Mr Hudson.

Inquisitive…

And what his mom and I call his “George Bush” look…

Thank you, Vicki and Hudson!  I have so enjoyed getting to know you two this year and I can’t wait to meet the rest of the family.

The Casianos and Jacobsons

January 8, 2009

Most of you probably remember Sweet Hannah.  She was kind enough to bring the rest of her family in to create a Christmas portrait for her grandparents, and they are such a fun family!  I couldn’t post these until after Christmas, but now that everyone’s opened their gifts, it’s okay to share.  :)

I am officially back from the holiday break!  And no, I didn’t take the whole two weeks off, but I did get to spend a lot of time with my kids while they were out of school, so it was a good break.  Just a quick update: as of yesterday, we have one remaining weekend afternoon appointment in February. After that books, our first available weekend sessions will be in March.  Before anyone panics :) we do still have weekday appointments available in January and February… it’s just the weekends that have booked up so quickly.  I’m really enjoying the transition back to location work and already feel more creative and happier about what I do, and I’m looking forward to sharing some of what I’ve been doing with you on the blog.  I’m just so far behind on blogging now that getting “caught up” is a daunting task!

So, even though it’s a relatively old session, I figured we’d start off 2009 with Asher.  I blogged his sister’s session right before we went on break, so it only seems right that Mr Asher gets his time in the spotlight.  He came into the studio in November for his newborn session and he is just precious.  I love his big eyes — he’s one of those babys who seems to be paying attention to everything that is going on around him.  It was so nice to meet you, Asher!
