So since I blogged about one of my favorite nephews, I figure it’s only fair to make it up to you all by blogging an older session as well.  Tessa’s probably been wondering why these never made it to the blog!  Preston is one of our Little Blessings members, and he celebrated his first birthday a few months ago.  Here are some of our favorites from his graduation session.  I try to get every baby’s family to come in for a few shots at one of the first-year sessions, because I feel that portraits are such an important part of your family’s history.  So here are Preston and his parents.  Aren’t they a gorgeous family?

I know I’ve been a terrible, terrible blogger.  We’ve had so much going on that once I shoot, process, do the ordering sessions, send things off to the lab, package, and make phone calls I just don’t have the energy for much else.  Our Christmas deadlines (for sessions) are still next weekend, and then we’ll be packing and moving, so things will probably slow down a bit in December and I’ll be able to catch up on blogging.  I’m also about to start that long-promised site and blog redesign… since the way we meet with and photograph clients and our pricing structure for new portrait sessions will be changing, it’s really time for a fresh look.

I feel just a little guilty for blogging these first, because it’s one of our more recent sessions and I am so far behind, but I am admittedly playing favorites. This is one of the cutest and sweetest babies I know.  And yes, he is my nephew.    Here is Baby Grant at 6 months old.  I haven’t had him in for portraits at the studio (or anywhere, for that matter) for a few months, and he is just so much fun to photograph.  Thanks for being such a good, sweet boy, Grant!
