Here is sweet Miss M. She has the most precious little smile and such a delightful personality! I loved having her in the studio. She really seemed to like our trunk — it gives a little taste of freedom to be able to stand there, with everyone cheering you on, at this age.

We had planned on doing this around Easter, but we were really too busy to book the dates. But we decided that June would be a good time to try again, before it gets too beastly hot to be outside. These will be Limited Editions along the lines of our White Session promotions earlier this year (not to be confused with the charity sessions we have in the fall — although I know a lot of you long time clients will remember that those were called Limited Editions at one time too).
These special outdoor sessions will take place in our outdoor garden area, and are perfect for sitting babies up to 11 year olds. What a great way to get holiday portraits taken care of early! These classic portraits will look best with simple clothing — cotton dresses, khaki shorts, light blues and denims. We can only offer a few of these sessions due to heat and light, and they will be earlier in the day before things get too uncomfortable outside. So mark your calendars for June 24th to June 27th and give us a call to book your session. We will offer special collections and products just for this event!
We have a few new lines that we’re getting ready for lauch at the studio, and I am looking for fresh faces to photograph! So our June promotion is “Fresh Faces” — call us between Tuesday, June 3rd and Friday, June 6th to book one of these special sessions with no session fee.
Here is how it works. ANYONE who calls to book a regular session (in other words, not a Little Blessings Collection session or a beach session — sorry guys, but we can’t work out how to apply this to what we’re doing) on these days gets a complimentary “artist’s choice” session, and will be our models for the new lines. This includes seniors and families as well as kids. Most of our new looks and sets are designed for sitters and up, and we will include a consultation to help you know what to wear for the look we’ll be photographing. These are so new and top secret that, while I’ve shot sample images, I am not ready to post them on the site yet. There are some of you out there who are just PERFECT for these particular sets so you might just get a call from me.
So remember: give us a call next week, starting Tuesday, to take advantage of this offer. I am only taking a limited number of sessions for this event so it will be first call, first booked.
Those of you who are on my mailing list are likely to get an email newsletter from me tonight about this. But we DO still have two beach session times available! These unique sessions are a great way to capture intimate portraits that are sure to become family heirlooms. We will be in Corpus Christi from June 20-22 photographing families at the beach and we'd love to have you join us. This will be the ONLY beach date this summer, so please let me know ASAP if you'd like to book your time. These are some of my favorite sessions every year and we always have a great time and capture beautiful family images. Most of our families turn this into a mini-vacation — we shoot early in the morning or late in the afternoon, and they have the rest of the day to relax and play on the beach. It's that time of year again! We are looking for 2009 Senior Models! Our models will represent the studio at their schools, and can earn cash and prizes by referring their friends. Our model sessions will take place over the summer before school starts, so I need to get your applications in ASAP. If you or someone you know are a New Braunfels, Canyon, Smithson Valley, Seguin, San Marcos, Wimberly, Judson or Reagan senior and you would like more information about our model search, please email me or call the studio — we are ALWAYS closed Sunday and Monday but will be back in the studio on Tuesday afternoon.
