Abigail

June 25, 2007

We’ve had a LOT of little girls in lately!  Little boys are fun, don’t get me wrong.  But little girls have so many "costume changes" and it seems to be easier for me to find girly props to use.  last year, it felt like we had a ton of boys, every week.  But this year is different.  So… I have been having fun digging things out of the prop room that haven’t been used for awhile.

This is Abigail.  I loved her vintage-looking lace outfit!  She is a sweetheart and has been in before.  Here are a few of my favorites from this sweetie’s session.

Ellen

This is my friend Ellen.  Her older brother is very good friends with my son, but Ellen came in by herself for a portrait session.  She is so full of personality.  I love kids this age… they come in ready to play and give us all sorts of expressions.  We moved from studio light, to window light, and back again so I had to be on my toes.  Here are a few of my favorites.

Yes, a little late.  But here are some favorites from my last senior girl portrait session for the class of 2007.  Sarah was so much fun to work with.

Erin

I had the chance to photograph Erin’s older brothers a few years ago, and was so excited to hear that she had joined the family.  We had so much fun playing during her session — she’s a character and has the best expressions.  She was supposed to have a bluebonnet session but it got rained out, so we decided to just have it at the studio instead.  I’m so glad we did because she was a joy to have up here.

And to those of you who have called over the past few days and haven’t gotten a return call yet, I’m working on that today between sessions.  And I am happy to announce that it looks like I’ll have some help up here starting in August, just in time for the busy holiday season.  I’ll introduce our new addition as soon as she’s ready to get started.

My name is Shelby and I am a bad blogger.  I have no excuse except that I’ve been too busy working on getting your orders out to sit down and blog.

So here is the start of the catchup.  :)   We’ve had several sets of twins in the studio in the past few months.  These are Diego and Sophia.  Aren’t they precious?  Twin sessions tend to be a little more work for all of us — there are two babies to keep happy, and like any other siblings they rarely seem to be happy at the same time.  But they are so much fun and with these babies, we got a lot of really sweet images.  Here are just a few.
