Beach Sessions

May 19, 2007

Hey y’all,

There are a few things going on that you should know about.

First of all, Bluebonnet Portraits are in!  I have them here at the studio and they look great.  Give me a call and we will make arrangements for pickup or delivery by mail.

Next, we are finally ready to start signing people up for our beach sessions in July!  They will be the 13th, 14th, and 15th on Mustang Island near Corpus Christi, and I have five appointments available.  Session fees will be $300 with a $100 print credit and we will have some specialty album designs available just for this event.  I know that three of you have already said you want to go — get with me asap so we can lock in your time.

This will be a great time to have a really special family portrait done, and work in a little vacation at the same time.  I will also be running a Christmas in July holiday card special.  Wouldn’t it be great to have that taken care of NOW?  :)   The beach sessions last year were so much fun, and this year we will be headed to a prettier beach.  Girls in white or pale blue dresses and boys in khakis will look great on the pale sand and in the dunes… there are grassy areas too so we can get a couple of different looks.  I am very excited about this event and expect it to fill up very very quickly!Beach2

Site Updates

May 7, 2007

I just added a BUNCH of new images from the last few months.  I am not done updating so if your baby isn’t up, don’t get upset.  You’re not being snubbed.  :)   But go check it out and see if someone you know and love is on the site.

Back in town!

May 2, 2007

Yes, I am finally back, despite what my phone message says.  Texas School was fantastic — I learned a lot and am ready to get some high school senior models in here to put all this new knowledge to good use.  My class this year was on senior portraits so I am full of new set ideas and some new ideas for posing and lighting.  We got to do a lot of hands on work, and I got to network with a bunch of other amazing photographers.  The fabulous Jay Young took our "girl gang" out one night and shot portraits of us for our websites, and some just for fun.  Thanks, Jay!  You made us look great!
